4" big eye flies
I used the big eye flies on 2 lake michigan salmon trips so far. Caught some nice salmon with them. 1 complaint I have is the stinger hooks are weak for salmon. I had a coho and a king straighten out the stinger hook. I would like to see these flies tied up with a heavier stinger hook.

These things are durable and very flashy. They have worked wonderfully for me so far this year on Kings. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for something better than the average fly!

Trolling Fly - Angry Alewife
I recently tried out the Beaver's Lures Angry Alewife trolling fly, and let me tell you, this fly is a game-changer! This design is awesome, from the glowing head, big eyes, flashy skirt and tournament rig, it worked like a champ! Pulled behind a Salmon Candy Dragon Slayer flasher, it delivered exceptional results. On my first outing with this setup, I hooked a few nice kings. I can't wait for my next trip to see what other monsters it will bring in! Beaver's Lures Angry Alewife is a must-have!

First time running this fly in Lake Superior behind a 10" flasher it out performed the other three Howie flys I had out. I will definitely be running this fly every time I go out. I am also a fan of the single trailer hook that comes tied on. Put this fly in your line up as soon as you can.
